SWAN RIVER COLONY- HISTORY MYSTERY 1

We are learning to imagine what life was like in the early days of the Swan River Colony. We are also learning why the Colony was started, and the people who played a role in this.

1st MYSTERY

Work with a partner. Why? Thinking together is thinking better! Use PicCollage app on the iPad to assemble a poster showing three buildings in the Swan River Colony built before 1849.

Locate the images on the National Trust W.A. site. Look for the ‘Places W.A.’ button. Choose 3 images of buildings that were made before 1849. Insert into your PicCollage. Label each building with one word which describes the original purpose of the building. Email your completed PicCollage to your teacher.
