    i think it means dont waste what nature gives you.
    because when i watched the first show it gave a lady a plastic cup but she uses a glass cup so she just needs to wash it and reuse.

    I think Mottainai means don’t waste. And in the second clip it is a repetitive pattern because after they went out of the wedding bit they did the same actions they did at the start

    I think mottainai means don’t waste be cause one of the give away was that in the first clip someone gave the lady a plastic cup she didn’t want it instead she got a glass cup where you can reuse.
